Institute provided treatment for mentally ill and drug/alcohol addicted clients from: general population, usually hospital referred or self-referred. Mandated population of patients from criminal justice institutions, usually probationers, parolees refereed by federal courts from southern and eastern district of ny, ny state courts and ny city courts, dwi programs with treatment, nyc department of social services such as starz, domestic violence, program for children with severe emotional disturbance whose parents speak polish, russian, slovak, spanish, greek, romanian and french.
