Elder services - the elder services program is designed to provide support and services that restore dignity and independence to elders, and to ease the burden of care on families. The programs also can assist elders and their families with everything from navigating the services available in the community to providing hands-on assistance. Special assistance is provided for hispanic elders with little or no ability to communicate in english. During the fiscal year, 2,959 individuals received assistance.
