Description
St. Simons African-American Heritage Coalition educates, preserves and revitalizes African American heritage and culture through three goals: preventing land loss, preserving historic sites and promoting economic development. The coalition restored a historic schoolhouse which now serves as a cultural center and museum open to the public daily from 10AM-2PM. Additionally, they offer van transportation for historic tours, events, and the GA Sea Islands Festival.
