Stanley Museum shares the traditions of Yankee ingenuity and creativity exemplified by the Stanley family. The museum exhibits historical treasures and works of art to further its mission, while also providing education research assistance for the community. Housed in the former Stanley School named after the Stanleys in 1905, it covers all facets of their history and memorabilia, including the invention of the famous Stanley Steamer automobile.

Program areas at Stanley Museum

The Museum is housed in the erstwhile Stanley School, named after the Stanleys in 1905. The famous Stanley Steamer automobile was invented by Francis Edgar Stanley. The exhibits cover all facets of the Stanley family history and memorablia - airbrush painting, artifacts, and photography, violins and replicas of the Stanley steam cars from 1905,1910, and 1916.
