Manufacturing extension partnerships (mep) cooperative agreement to encourage and improve greater collaborations between states and the federally sponsored mep programs.
Other program services, sponsor/member benefits, various research projects that benefit the Technology based economic development community as a whole. Publication of weekly digest publication distributed to the public free of charge with a readership of over 10,000. As part of our federal education work, ssti seeks opportunities to bring federal, State, and local university and non-profit actors together to increase understanding of activites being undertaken and to explore methods of improved cooperation among all actors.
Annual conference and dialogue serving over 300 participents, 90% of whom are from the public sector or quasi-governmental. Annual conference topic, tools for building tech-based economies ssti also conducts meetings with elected and appointed government officials to provide updates on the technology-based economic development field including best practices.
