Step has begun the process of seeking to expand into Colorado Springs to replicated its program in a facility in that community.A Step Denver subsidiary, Step Springs was established this year and property was purchased. Construction on the Step Springs residential facility will commence next year. The Step Board and CEO have also begun to explore and prepare for national expansion to help other cities with urgent needs implement Steps model. The Step Board remains committed to its goal to bring the Step methodology to other cities as a solution to the issues of addiction and homelessness. Throughout this period of expansion, Step Denver remains focused on ensuring clients/residents receive a high level of engagement and programming to support their progress and sustained outcomes. Program enhancements continue to be made and long-term outcomes remain strong. 330 individuals were served in Step Denver's program this year.
The Driven to Donate vehicle donation program continues to provide a substantial percentage of the revenue needed to provide Steps clients with safe, sober housing.
