Step of Faith Outreach

Step of Faith operated 40sfpf sites in seven counties (banks, jackson, stephens, hart, lumpkin, elbert and franklin)serving free nutritious meals to economically disadvantaged school age children during the summer when school was out. Added community Outreach services four days a week with the help of four emmanuel college students volunteering time to help mentor, tutor and homework help to students and the adult education program. Added drumline class to help students with different musical instruments. Continued harvesting vegetables and furthering organic community garden and teaching people how to cook more using healthier foods. Continued summerfest which is a back to school bash to help families with supplies for kids that start back to school. Started a senior brown bag food assistance program. Started a temporary shelter for loss of home fire victims. Started a infant car seat program. Continuing after school k-12 program and community food pantry.
