Program areas at Sterling Schools Foundation
Auditorium operations - centennial auditorium is located on the campus of Sterling high school, which is part of the Sterling public school system. The Sterling Schools Foundation raised the funds to build the auditorium in 1998 and continues to fund all operational expenses at the facility, including upkeep, maintenance, utilities, and staff. This is an ongoing program and served 15,000 people this year.
Golden warrior tv program provides life video coverage of Sterling public Schools sporting events, concerts, ceremonies, etc. Revenue is generated from subscription and advertising sales. Number served 1,000.
Shs athletic booster club provides as needed financial assistance to Sterling high school athletic programs and athletes. Served 453 students.
Blue & gold program funds important alumni relations efforts including publication of annual alumni magazine, monthly email newsletter and our organization's website. Seasonal staff is hired to research and complete information included in communication pieces. Mail 12,000 annual alumni magazines and email 6,500 monthly.
Tools & technology is a program created to fund purchases of educational-based technology (hardware, software, and related supplies) for all students in the Sterling public Schools.
Gw baseball club provides developmental baseball opportunities for Sterling public school students in grades 3-12. Number served: 110
