Program areas at Storymakers Author Guild
Storymakers conference - encourage and support fellow writers. The Guild wasn't formed to be exclusive. The professional membership is there to provide a professional, safe place where published latter-day saint authors can grow in their craft by supporting each other, sharing ideas and experiences, and feeling free to discuss publishing contracts and other publishing options.
The whitney awards is an awards program for novels written by authors who are members of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints. Elder orson f. whitney, an early apostle in the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints, prophesied: it is our hope to be a part of that journey toward excellence by honoring writers who are members of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints and showcasing, through their work, the standards that make us a unique people.
Storymakers indie Author hub conference - strengthen literacy in our communities. We reach out to authors and help them improve their craft. We believe the more people become comfortable with a pen and a book, the more civilized our society will grow.
