Program areas at Stowe Mission of Central Ohio

Hunger ministries: through the community kitchen and food pantry, we provide much needed hunger relief to the local community. In 2022, 57,670 meals were served through the community kitchen, 43,695 meals were served through the food pantry, 1,520 meals were served through block parties, and 1,946 meals were served through the after-school program. An additional 57,898 meals were provided through satellite food pantries
Medical ministries: through our dental and optometry clinics, we provided access to free medical care. In 2022, the clinic provided free services to approximately 520 patients.
Kids after school program: each week, students participate in homework help, hands-on learning, pe activities, and bible lessons. There were 23 students active in the program in 2022.
Community outreach: throughout the year, we hold events to further meet the needs of the community. In 2022, we provided 615 backpacks/school supplies, 728 kids received toys, and 1,207 emergency items shared (hygiene, coats, etc. ).
Pregnancy resource center: our prc offers help to those facing emotional, educational, or financial challenges throughout pregnancy and parenthood. In 2022, we had 552 client visits.
