Description
The Student Loan Fund organizes student loan borrowers to cancel student debt by developing their leadership and organizing skills. Its mission is to reconstruct the predatory higher education lending system by promoting free college education and cancellation of student debt. The organization collaborates with other education mission organizations to alert student loan borrowers of legislative rulings that could potentially reduce or cancel student loan debt, such as the Public Service Loan Cancellation under the COVID Relief Act.

Program areas at Student Loan Fund

SLF is working collaboratively with other education mission organizations to alert student loan borrowers of legislative rulings that could potentially reduce or cancel student loan debt (i.e Public Service Loan Cancellation under the COVID Relief Act). As a result, many student loan borrowers have received or are closer to receiving debt cancellation through Public Service Loan Forgiveness. We continually give student borrowers access to resources to assist in getting loans reduced or cancelled.
