Program areas at Student Organizations and Journals of Harvard Law School
Sojhls goal is to put in place an appropriate level of oversight over Harvard Law School's Student clubs and Journals and establish uniform procedures regarding financial controls, compliance, and best practices. Members of the clubs and Journals, who are Harvard Law School students, spend time planning, organizing and implementing Student group activities. The events and activities carried out by the clubs range from entertainment and networking events to leadership conferences in specialized areas of focus all for Harvard Law School students and the Harvard community. These activities generally occur during the academic year (september - may), and are designed to be generally self-sustaining. By supporting these initiatives sojhls was able to build community, develop relationships, and promote collaboration among students and practitioners across many topics of the Law. Sojhls supported 100 Student Organizations and 14 Journals within the Harvard Law School for fiscal year ended june 30, 2023.
