Sturgeon Bay Historical Society Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Sturgeon Bay's living history, which defines community character and cultural evolution, for future generations through advocacy, preservation and education. The organization achieves this by saving, restoring, repurposing and sharing the story of Sturgeon Bay's authentic historic structures. The door county granary --- an iconic, port grain elevator --- creates an authentic, immersive experience that celebrates our agricultural history and inspires our future. Our nationally-recognized granary will cultivate community, education, research and creativity.
The preservation of historic spaces through advocacy, preservation and educational efforts for the benefit of residents and visitors alike.
