Our therapists integrate mind-body practices to enhance mental and emotional wellness, creating a supportive environment for personal development. Our coaching sharpens essential skills such as attention, organization, and impulse control, which are critical for academic and daily success. We use a combination of clinical therapy, executive function coaching, and experiential learning - including equine and animal therapies, yoga, and mindfulness - to address the needs of the whole child in alignment with nature's calming influence. We equip children with practical strategies to improve self-regulation and effective management of tasks and emotions.summit Ranch is being developed in three phases. Phases one and two were in progress during 2023.phase one: the board hired a program director, two therapists, one assistant, and a finance officer to operate the Ranch. Operational policies have been put in place and we continue to focus on policies across all organizational areas. Staff is working with marketing professionals to refine the vision for the Ranch and develop its website and marketing materials.phase two: the center will be promoted as a local resource and destination provider of education, training, and therapy for individuals and families needing assistance with chronic disease prevention and sustaining healthy lifestyles. In addition to traditional individual and group therapy, programs will also be offered to help clients develop healthy habits, including classes for fitness, cooking, gardening, equine therapy, music therapy and other subjects designed to broaden client interests and create new opportunities. We hold regular tours of the facility with local schools and other medical professionals. The Ranch currently offers fitness/yoga classes and acquired two horses for equine therapy. Additional programs will be added to our offering as staff is hired.phase three: therapeutic success of the center will be evaluated by tracking former client outcomes. Regular contact with program graduates during the first year after their initial visit will help encourage the client to live a healthy lifestyle. Graduates will also be given the opportunity to continue participating in the center by sharing their recovery story with current clients.
