Sumner County CASA Inc. began assigning volunteers in April 1992 and has advocated for over 4,000 children in court proceedings to date in cases primarily involving abuse and/or neglect. In 2022-2023, 54 CASA volunteers provided service to 140 children, donated over 2,500 hours, trained over 415 hours, and drove over 3000 miles. 9 new CASA volunteers were trained and sworn in during the 2022-2023 fiscal year. 59 cases were closed and 82 new cases were opened during 2022-2023.
