Program areas at Sunrise Movement

Climate mandate: through digital and press communications, mediagenic mobilizations, and spokesperson training, we mobilized young people to pressure congress and the president to pass and implement an ambitious, urgent, investment-forward, antiracist, and job-creating recovery agenda to address the climate crisis and the pandemic, and to keep climate change at the top of the public agenda.
Pennsylvania Sunrise semester - Sunrise Movement developed the leadership of dozens of Pennsylvania youth in 2022, providing them with the skills to lead powerful organizing efforts that brought awareness of Pennsylvania's whole home repairs act as a green new deal policy victory to the public.
Good jobs for all campaign - through digital and press communications, mediagenic mobilizations and spokesperson training, we mobilized young people to pressure federal policy makers to pass and implement an ambitious federal infrastructure package to help the united states achieve green new deal policy priorities such as carbon pollution-free energy, increased investments in renewable energy and clean jobs, a civilian climate corps, and an earmark of significant spending to benefit black, brown, indigenous, and frontline communities.
