Program areas at Sunshine Communities
Sunshine Foundation, Inc. raises funds to support Sunshine Inc. Residential and support services. In 2023, donations supported the individuals at Sunshine with clothing, dental care, adaptive equipment, furniture, accessible vehicles, communication devices, holiday gifts, infrastructure improvements to Sunshine's community homes and main campus residential living spaces, and the installation of a new hvac system. The majority of activity in 2023 for the Foundation was infrastructure improvements and renovations to residental living spaces, such as kitchen updates (cabinetry, appliances), painting, flooring, etc. And to the hvac system. Continued on schedule o.with the volunteer help of board members, former board members and community leaders, Sunshine initiated a successful major gifts campaign that raised over $1,000,000.
