Sunshine House is a Senior Center and Meals on Wheels provider. We are the only services for seniors within an 80 mile area, serving 250 meals daily. All of our meals are cooked fresh with care in our own kitchen. We deliver to seniors, the homebound and disabled in Alpine and Marathon. Texas. We not only provided 65,000 meals to our small community in far southwest Texas but we also provide essential welfare checks when each meal is delivered. We save several lives every single year, as our volunteers are often the only people that our homebound clients see regularly. We offer a variety of classes, clubs and activities in our building. We engage in everything from book club and chair yoga to people just enjoying our computer lab, library or ongoing jigsaw puzzles.
