2023 accomplishments included continuing to support our members as they struggled with increased tenant needs as well as chronic staff shortages. We also brought more than 90 staff from 60 organizations together in four roundtables to press for change in Supportive Housing residences. We distilled this information into a series of recommendations that we shared with city and state stakeholders. We also held four roundtables with tenants to gather their input on what was happening in their Housing, all of which echoed what we had heard from staff. This input led us to design a series of trainings and community of practices aimed at strengthening staff's hard and soft skills to meet the current challenges. We mounted a campaign to align deeply unequal funding rates that were crippling members' ability to stay open. We also won changes to a preservation funding option allowing thousands of units to make use of this New resource. Finally, we analyzed and published our findings on the need to re-allocate funding for 6200+ units of Supportive Housing under the nyc 15/15 agreement to ensure its completion. In addition our annual conference attracted a record number of registrants 1800 people. The Network also held a successful annual awards gala attended by some 500 supporters celebrating our community's resilience and two tenants of the year.
