Sustain Hawaii began successful implementation of a 3-year cultural preservation grant for native, medicinal plants from the Administration for Native Americans. We?ve also continued assisting our indigenous population and vulnerable community members with systems-based health & wellness education, including hands-on learning creating nutrient rich growing medium, planting/harvesting nutrient dense fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, nuts and seeds, food prep and value-add production, culinary skills, daily nutrient tracking and gap analyses, etc.
