Program areas at Sustainable Development Commons
Sustainable Development Commons, Inc. (SDC) acts as an umbrella organization that supports institutions, hosts experts from all sectors and backgrounds, and establishes itself as a global hub for educational and public programming related to sustainable development, all located within SDC's single physical hub, the Campus. The heart of SDC's work is organizing a series of Commons, which are groups of independent on-site organizations that will each focus on advancing solutions to address a specific set of sustainable development goals, starting with the Climate. Commons will bring together experts across sectors, backgrounds, and disciplines including scientists, researchers, frontline communities, nonprofits, relevant businesses, and political leaders to form project based teams.
