Indicators for a Sustainable San Mateo countyannual report which provides fact-based information on local trends impacting our economy, environment, and society. Each year we focus on one sustainability topic and examine its effect on San Mateo County. Since inception the report has been welcomed as a credible source of information by governments, businesses, civic groups and non-profits to set goals, measure progress and prioritize resource allocation. In 2023 we explored the well-being of children, youth, and families in San Mateo County.
Sustainability dashboardssmc's sustainability dashboard tracks progress by cities in San Mateo County by measuring 30 key performace measures. The sustainability dashboard empowers local governments, community organizations, residents and media with comprehensive sustainability metrics for each of San Mateo County's 20 cities and unincorporated areas. The dashboard provides current data on sustainability, monitors progress, allowing cities to compare and monitor their progress.
Sustainability awardseach spring ssmc celebrates local sustainability champions and green building awards a recipients, and features the all electric leaders awards presented by peninsula clean energy.
