Program areas at Sweet Paws Rescue
Sweet Paws Rescue is a volunteer based, shelterless rescue group. We rescue homeless and unwanted dogs and cats from high kill shelters, owner surrenders and accidental litters. We arrange and pay for the dogs or cats vetting, behavioral testing, vaccinations and spay/neuter. We place the dogs or cats at a volunteer foster home that will care for the dog or cat, and evaluate the best kind of home for the dog or cat. Our volunteers review each adoption application and complete an in-depth screening of each family who applies, which includes a phone interview, veterinary reference check, personal reference check, and a home visit. We find the best family situation for each dog or cat, and the ideal match for adoption.
