Program areas at Sweet Sleep
Launched 16 economic development projects/cooperatives in uganda by training and empowering 175 women who are able to provide for 1,034 dependent household members. Purchased a 2-acre plot of land in unyama, gulu uganda that is being developed as a demonstration farm.
Sweet Sleep provides bedding to children in uganda, typically delivered by a team of volunteers. In 2023 three trips were made to uganda hosting 8 volunteers to serve communities in uganda through bed distribution. These volunteers distributed 240 beds to ugandan children.
Provided educational programs to children and teens in u.s. Churches educating them about the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children around the world. Our programs engaged over 5,000 children and teens in u.s. Churches.
