Sweetpea Friends of Rutland Animals

Sweetpea Friends of Rutland Animals, inc. Operates an animal shelter, the purpose of which is to facilitate the placement of stray, homeless and unwanted Animals as pets in desirable homes; to establish procedures and facilities which promote the health, care and placement of such Animals and which prevent cruelty to, and alleviate the pain and suffering of all Animals; and to educate adopters and the local public on proper pet care and handling, over population, and the prevention of cruelty to Animals. The organization has a no-kill policy. Once accepted into Sweetpea Friends of Rutland Animals, inc., no animal will be euthanized unless incurably ill or dangerous. The organization is committed to providing medical care, boarding, and training until the animal is adopted into a qualified, loving, and permanent home.
