Description
Switch's mission to end human trafficking and sexual exploitation in the Upstate of South Carolina focuses on awareness, demand, intervention, prevention, and restoration. In 2019, the restoration program was strengthened for trafficking survivors with personalized care plans created by a care coordinator for each of the 46 participants. Two full-time intervention coordinators were hired that year to build relationships with more organizations working with vulnerable populations giving women choices in preventing any such incidents.

Switch's goal is to end sex trafficking and sexual exploitation in the upstate of sc. The mission is built around five pillars: awareness - bringing community to the table prevention - reaching them before it happens demand - stopping it where it begins intervention - reaching the most vulnerable restoration - bringing healing and hope since its founding in 2012, Switch has assisted 600 individuals through its intervention and restoration program, trained over 50 local agencies on how to identify human trafficking, and educated over 35,000 community members.
