The Syrian American Council is the leading grassroots organization advocating for a free and democratic Syria while strengthening the Syrian-American community and building a network of supporters across the United States.By empowering our community to advocate for members of congress, engage with local media, and raise awareness amongst the general public, we provide Syrian Americans and advocates for Syria with the tools necessary to educate, inform and promote change.The Syrian American Council actively works toward a Free Syria by driving U.S. Syria policy within the United States government, supporting the revolution and championing the opposition on the ground in Syria, and mobilizing Syrian-Americans to engage politically.
