Reflecting on the 2023 year, we proudly celebrated the success of our inaugural cohort of graduates who seamlessly integrated into the workforce, marking a significant milestone in their paths to recovery and self-sufficiency. These dedicated individuals secured employment within a manufacturing unit, where they actively contributed to the production of Taara gift bags, among other items, showcasing their newly acquired skills and dedication. Meanwhile, our latest cohort of graduates completed foundational coursework and is now fully engaged in vocational training, poised to follow in their predecessors' footsteps toward independent, meaningful careers. Beyond this, our efforts to raise awareness have resonated throughout the community; we hosted impactful events in high schools and public spaces, reaching teenagers, children, and parents alike. By bringing in experts on essential topics such as self-defense, teen safety, online security, and self-esteem, as well as inviting a survivor to share her inspiring story, we empowered young people to feel safer, more informed, and resilient. In collaboration with the homeland security team, our initiatives have been enriched, allowing us to broaden our reach and amplify our mission of fostering awareness and empowerment among today's youth.
