Program areas at Tallgrass Recovery and Sober Living Homes
30-day Program -- Tallgrass programs have assisted thousands of people and their families. Guests are immersed in a community-based 12-step spiritual program & ground-breaking mentoring by a peer volunteer to learn the program which can be used to maintain sobriety and live a life of recovery from the chronic disease of addiction. The grants reported are scholarships awarded to individuals as a reduction of their stay fee. A discounted fee is then charged to the individuals if they do not have the financial means to cover the full cost of their 30-day stay.
Sober living homes -- Guests apply for the opportunity to live in these homes where they can practice their recovery life skills in a home-like environment surrounded by others working the same recovery program. It is a place to share common goals, experiences and a place to grow. This program requires guests to obtain employment, support their roommates, abstain from alcohol & chemical use, and attend regular 12-step program meetings.
