Program areas at Tamarack Wildlife Center
The Center provides wildlife rehabilitation of ill, injured or orphaned birds of prey, songbirds, turtles, rabbits & oppossums in the Northwest Pennsylvania area. The Center issues a newsletter, conducts tours and presentations in order to educate the public. In 2023, 1190 animals across 115 species were treated with a survivial rate of 81%. 108 educational programs reaching 8,656 people were conducted in 2023 and 9,902 hours were served by volunteers.
