Teller County Honorary Deputy

The Sheriff's office open house was a great success with a record number of people again this year.the money we raised for shop with a hero alone was a huge, and we were able to help the most children ever. Hdsa has never raised that much money for a specific event even when we did our swat weekend shoots.our coat collection and food drive with fire departments and the toy drive were all big events due to the increased need in the community.the year's golf tournament fund raiser was the most money we've ever raised at that event, and we also hosted a first responders golf tournament later in the year.again, one of the most important events was law enforcement week because it had been a tough couple of years for law enforcement. The huge showing of individuals for the event and the support of all those who attended from Teller County made all the deputies very appreciative as well as the members of law enforcement who attended from the surrounding area. It was a great event this year.we were able to raise the money to purhcase night force optic scopes, training mats and ifak kits for our deputies. The hdsa also purchases all the uniforms for new posse and reserve members who assist in many of the events in Teller County which allows the deputies and officers of the tcso to concentrate on law enforcement duties.
