Program areas at Tendea Family
Is a Youth Diversion program that currently pays 20 youth between the ages of 10-18 youth get hands-on training with leadership speaking and grassroots organizing. The Mission of Tendea's Cadet Program is to use education community service and leadership development to prepare youth for the responsibility of uplifting their community. In addition to the 20 youth officially within the program we have served over 100 youth.
EVERY SUNDAY organizers engage with community members by giving out FREE clothes food and resources that they may need. Together organizers and community members clean the neighborhood mediate conflict and network with everyone that comes out. We have served over 500 families and indivdulas through the Community Clean Up.
The Sisters Dinner-EVERY WEDNESDAY organizers provide a sacred space for women to come together share their story come together share their story connect with other ladies and grow as women. During this program dinner is and different topics are discussed.Throughout the year there are trips photoshoots served and different topics are discussed and presenters that focus on different aspects of womanhood that can be beneficial to every woman that participates. Since 2019 we have served over 200 women.
