Job Opportunities: EARN & LEARN Tender Hearts Ministries aims to help those individuals who need hope and opportunities for a better life by providing them with job training in our warehouse location. These individuals begin employment with us so we can provide coaching and hands-on skill development. They learn in-take, processing, pricing, distribution, quality control, cleaning, use of an electric time-clock, punctuality, proper dress attire, communication skills, and much more. Our goal is for them to receive actual experience and help set them up for success to move on to another employer in York County or Chester County, South Carolina. Each client/employee has their own individualized plan which could take 6 months up to 5 years depending on their learning capabilities. Below are the four types of clients we work with for job training: Those with criminal backgrounds / some coming straight from prison Those with addictions and have completed rehabilitation Those who are homeless (and have not been in the workforce for a long time) Those who are special needs with learning disabilities
