Program areas at Tennessee Business Roundtable
The Roundtable executed four quarterly convenings of its member executives - one each in all three grand divisions of the state, plus a luncheon on corporate culture, a 40th anniversary celebration and 2023 annual meeting. Attendees engaged with state commissioners and legislative leaders as well as local government, education and nonprofit leaders. Key areas of focus included health, transportation, public safety, education, workforce development, and energy.
The Roundtable advocated with executive and legislative state policymakers in favor of business-friendly policies in the areas of surface transportation, data privacy, financial literacy, public safety, k-12 literacy and federal education funding, child care, rural health, and social policies affecting Tennessee's reputation and Business climate.
The Roundtable communicated Business, policy, legal, and political information to its member executives through multiple media, including over 20 e-newsletters, plus webinars, blog posts, and social media communications.
