Healthy Heart Bushwick - TENT Ministries, Inc. began its new initiative called Healthy Heart Bushwick in November of 2023. The program strives to provide food insecure men and women within the Bushwick community with fresh produce to encourage the use of food as medicine. The program provides 150 participants struggling with hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity, type 2 diabetes, or heart disease with groceries weekly. The 12-month program will continue to run through November of 2024.
Summer Missions in PR - in the months of July and August 2023, TENT Ministries, Inc. hosted Summer Missions at the TENT School of Ministry in Rio Grande, PR. Various teams and volunteers accomplished tasks across the campsite and in high-need communities throughout the island.
Mobile Food Pantry - between the months of Marh and June 2023, Tent Ministries, Inc. ran its mobile food pantry between, bringing fresh produce to individuals within disenfrancshised communities around NYC.
