Founded in 2014, Terrewode Womens Fund is a long-term partner with Terrewode, a ugandan ngo working to end fistula and improve maternal healthcare in uganda. Terrewode Womens Fund supported the construction and launch of Terrewode Womens community hospital in 2019, the first specialized fistula hospital in uganda. Terrewode Womens community hospital provides world-class comprehensive fistula treatment free of charge to hundreds of women each year. Terrewode Womens Fund also supports terrewodes holistic reintegration program, which provides counseling, fistula and safe motherhood education, advocacy and finance training, and on-going community-based support groups for fistula survivors.
