Program areas at Terry Law Ministries
Iraq: in 2022, we continued the skills training program for refugee women. 220 women completed this program that will help develop a new livelihood for their familits. While attending the skills training program, childcare is provided and the gospel is shared and 60 women now attend a church. In addition, 4,091 families were seen and provided basic medical care and had an opportunity to hear the gospel and receive prayer. We helped 4 christian families start a small business to help provide for their families and share the gospel. Through our video ministry project,44 videos were shared online that reached on average 93,000 people a month. We also distributed 450 relief packs of food supplies and bibles during christmas a an outreach to families. In 2023 we hope to double the amount of women that complete the skills training prgram and help more christian families start up small businesses in iraq. Myanmar: during 2022, we continued to provide support to 28 orphans, which helps provide clothing, toiletries, nutritious meals, healthcare, housing and christian education and activities, as well as life skills training. Using the abc curriculum, we continued to train and disciple students and leaders through local churches and pastors, with a total of 1,112 students studying abc and 500 of those being new students in 2022. The ministry training center (mtc) served 24 students for a nine month training ssession (august through april), and an additional 26 students enrolled for he next nine months of training. A total of 92 students have graduated from mtc. We provided 825 relief packs of food, supplies and bibles to families through local churches at christmas, which provided the opportunity to pray and share the gospel with those in need. In 2023, we plan to add 1,000 new abc students. China: we continued our training and discipleship programs in china throughout 2022. There were 1,382 new students enrolled and a total of 5,324 students studying in the abc discipleship and leadership curriculum. We enrolled 94 new students in the china mission school (cms)program in 2022. The abc and cms programs continue to be major outreach of world compassion in spreading the gospel i china, along with significant training of believers throughout the nation. In 2023, we hope to add 1,000 additional students into these programs. Iran: our work of placing bibles into iran continued successfully in 2022. We successfully delivered over 53,500 bibles into the iran in 2022. We continue placing bibles into the country, creating one on one connection points between christians, new believers and even muslims seeking the truth in god's word. To further support the leaders and pastors of iran, we hosted a virtual iranian pastors conference in 2022. We also distributed 1,000 relief packs of food, supplies and bibles during christmas as an outreach to families in need. We also provided discipleship kits in farsi to 500 iranian christian leaders to study and use to disciple others in their faith. In 2023, we have a goal of distributing 1,000 more discipleship kits and 100,000 bibles. Cuba: we contined to support church planting efforts in the country of cuba by supporting 3 churches that started to build, remodel and expand their buildings. We plan to partner with pastors in cuba to help their church planting efforts in 2023. . Afghanistan: in 2022, we supported 11 christian families in relocating to a safe place to reside permanently. We also continued to suppport 8 christian families that were evacuated and waiting on a permanant residency. Unite my city: we organized 2 prayer events for pastors and city and state leaders to unify in prayer for our state. We also hosted pastor connect meetings and activities to strengthen and unify the church in tulsa. Other ministry activities: during 2022, jason Law spoke at a few churches and also hosted several pastors on retreats to strengthen and develop church partnerships. We held a virtual partner event, focusing on raising funds for bibles in iran. Jason Law traveled to cuba and the united kingdom and kept up with all the overseas teams with regular virtual meetings. Teaching books were distributed through sales and giveawats. The ministry sent monthly communications to thousands of partners in continuing the mission fulfillment of world compassion.
