Program areas at Teton Adaptive Sports
In 2023, Teton Adaptive Sports continued its partnership with jh paragliding allowing people with a disability to fly for the first time at jackson hole mountain resort. Other programs including Adaptive mountain biking, Adaptive climbing, and Adaptive paddling continued with an increase in usage, inclusivity, and accessability.
Teton Adaptive fills gaps to make sure outdoor recreation companies are able to invite and serve people with disabilities to participate in their areas of expertise. Through these collaborations, Teton Adaptive was part of ski lessons, individual mountain biking, people ice skating, climbers on the via ferrata, and Adaptive paraglinding flights in 2023.
To promote, support, and develop Sports and outdoor recreational opportunities for people with disabilities living in and visiting the greater Teton area.
