Description
Texas American Immigration Lawyers Assn promotes justice, advocates for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, and advances the quality of immigration and nationality law and practice. Throughout the year, we hold two conferences and several webinars providing legal education for our members. Our annual conference offers in-person legal education for members regarding immigration law with an attendance of approximately 200.

Program areas at Texas American Immigration Lawyers Assn

In 2023, we held two large continuing legal educational (CLE) conferences in two different cities. Our attendance ranges from 100 (Fall Conference) to 250 (Spring conference). We also held monthly CLE virtual webinars throughout the year. We do this to provide legal education to our members who work in the field of Immigration Law. We also supported the 2023 National Day of Action in Washington DC where our members appeared in person in Washington DC to advocate for fair immigration laws. Finally, we made several donations to other non-profit organizations that provide much needed services to low income immigrants.
