Program areas at Texas Apartment Association
Leases, forms, and publications - the Association sells leasing forms and software leasing programs to its members to provide consistency in content and format, comply with Texas statutes and rules, and enhance operational efficiency. The Association also offers printed redbooks and online redbooks, which simplifies the Texas property code and those statutes which relate to the industry.
Conference and trade show - taa one conference & expo is an annual event that takes place each spring. Educational sessions are available for members at all levels of the rental industry. Keynote speakers also provide education for the members. The trade show provides members and vendors an opportunity to discuss products and services available in the industry.
Member services - the Association provides a number of services to assist its members with their daily operations. The Association sends quarterly magazines and has a monthly e-newsletter for members to keep them informed of the latest industry news. The Association also maintains a website to keep members informed of developing issues.
Legislative - the Association is responsible for representing the rental housing industry before the Texas legislature and state regulatory agencies. The Association also monitors current legislation and communicates to its members any issues which may affect the industry.education - the Association hosts many educational programs for its members. These programs include legal and leasing seminars, continuing education, and certification programs for its members, as well as online and other electronic type delivery programs.
