Program areas at Texas Assocfor Healthphysical Education Recreation and Dance
Multiple educational meetings including the annual convention, administrators conference, leadership conference, student conference and summer conference held during the year to provide Education and information to members.
Tahperd has partnered with the american heart association for more than 25 years to provide programs including jump rope for heart and hoops for heart, national Education programs for elementary students that teach physical fitness and promote community service.
Publications to educate and inform members include the fall, spring and summer journal issues, and electronic newsletters to members with the most recent health, physical Education, Recreation and Dance news and announcements of events and other items of interest.
Membership services provided to over 4,000 members including volunteer and leadership opportunities, networking, career and resource services, e-directory, and many other services. Also support of tahperd foundation and trust.
