The Texas Education Technology Leaders (tetl) (formerly Texas k-12 cto council) is the state chapter of the consortium for school networking [cosn] and the premier organization for Technology Leaders in Texas schools. The purpose of the organization is to assist Texas k-12 school districts in understanding how to plan for the use and successful implementation of information Technology in Texas schools and advocate for districts Technology needs to improve student learning.tetl hosted 3 major events in the past year. Each event was successful, as we saw an increase in member attendance and vendor participation. Tetl has also increased professional learning opportunities through our member calls and webinars. Our membership continues to grow. We currently serve over 130 school districts and 10 regional service centers. Tetl continues to serve its members through committee work. The advocacy committee will continue to lobby for funding and support of k12 tech
