During 2023:* TFDP had 10 clinics, which provided 138 people with resources related to criminal record-clearing and clearing drivers license/Class C holds. TFDP also hosted 2 Know Your Criminal Record Clearing Rights presentations, which provided information to 168 people.* TFDP's Systems Navigation program provided food pantry resources to about 80% of new applicants.* TFDP worked with a group of judges and attorneys to update Texas Law Helps Occupational Drivers License pro se petition, which went into effect September 2023.* TFDP's Systemic Litigation team filed 5 major lawsuits, including litigation to end over-detention, to open courts to the press and public, and to guarantee timely appointment of quality counsel for all.
