Maintenance of internet-based hardware and software that connects each of these repeaters allowing for rf communications throughout large portions of the state
Participation in local meet-ups and amateur radio events e.g. The houston hamfest in rosenberg supporting amateur radio participation education and expansion and organizing weekly periodic on-air networking events nets promoting technical matters weather awareness and family-fun events.
This catagory of revenue is provided by members and is the principal source of financial support provided by those who benefit from the Texas GMRS Network's reason for being: supporting amateur radio and providing alternative communications capability during times of disaster
