Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne (THC), licensed for 137 staffed beds, is a regional hospital servicing Cleburne, Joshua and surrounding communities. Since 1986, the hospital has provided quality health care services to the Johnson County community. THC offers many services such as cardiology, digestive, dialysis, neurology, general surgery, orthopedics, pulmonology, telemetry, and women's services including L&D and post-partum. Support services include respiratory, radiology, physical /occupational therapy and a wound care center with hyperbaric services. During the year, THC had 14,112 patient days, 3,310 discharges, 39,556 outpatient encounters, 27,686 emergency room visits and 392 births. THC provides quality medical healthcare regardless of race, creed, sex, national origin, handicap, age, or ability to pay. The hospital provides care to persons covered by governmental programs including Medicare and Medicaid for reimbursement that does not always cover the cost of providing the care. Recognizing its mission to the community, services are provided to both financially indigent and medically indigent patients. Community benefit is provided through many reduced-price services and free programs to the community. These services are essential to provide complete healthcare to the communities served.
