Texas Health Hospital Frisco (THF) is a jointly operated acute-care hospital between Texas Health Resources and UT Southwestern Medical Center and is a 93 licensed beds acute-care hospital serving the North Texas Denton and Collin County areas that began accepting patients on December 16, 2019. The hospital's services include an emergency department, heart and vascular, back & spine, orthopedics, imaging, nutrition, rehabilitation, digestive health, urology, women and infant care, wound care, and behavioral health. THF had 16,883 patient days, 4,687 discharges, 1,261 births, 29,244 outpatient encounters, and 21,629 emergency room visits during the calendar year 2022. THF provides quality medical healthcare services regardless of the patient's race, creed, sex, national origin, handicap, age or ability to pay. THF provides care to persons covered by governmental programs, including Medicare and Medicaid, for reimbursement that does not always cover the cost of providing the care. THF also provides charity care to patients who are unable to pay for the services they receive.
