Txrg operates and provides superior athletic opportunities for women and girls in the Austin area to learn, train and compete in support of the sport, women's flat track derby. Txrg also promotes and introduces new fans to women's flat-track roller derby by hosting public competitions in Austin, Texas, and by traveling and participating in competitions statewide, nationally and internationally. Txrg promoted women's flat-track roller derby by working to create and improve relationships with the city of Austin and other community organizations, including keep Austin beautiful, while maintaining an active role in the national governing body, women's flat-track derby association (wftda).
