Program areas at Texas Rural Funders
In fulfillment of its mission to bring attention and resources to Rural Texas communities,our 2022 programs included: supporting of a statewide Rural symposium hosted by the Texas tribune; hosting a free, statewide broadband summit for 250 attendees;facilitating three member meetings and; hosting nine virtual learning sessions on topics including: water, broadband, mental health, housing, libraries. Texas Rural Funders is dedicated exclusively to charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
