Program areas at The Texas Wine School
The Texas Wine School offered wine education classes, from one-time Introduction to Wine classes to multi-week certification classes, including Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) courses and Wine Scholar Guild courses. Eight scholarships were awarded in 2023, totaling $6,768.
The Texas Wine School Foundation donated space for tasting groups and industry associations to use for wine education purposes. We also hosted the meetings of the Houston Sommelier Association.
The Texas Wine School held several Master Classes with guest speakers, for both the trade and for the broader public.
