Program areas at The African-American Educational and Cultural Festival
The aaecf, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that connects resources as housing, health, jobs, education and advocacy to under served communities and individuals. We conduct multiple programs that meet a range of needs, spanning these five core focus areas.the aaecf seeks to assist in stabilizing and giving people a sense of purpose and direction. Further, we promote, enhance, and educate persons from infancy to adulthood; increase Cultural awareness, and thereby improve The total quality of life. We utilize a grassroots effort to uplift and uplift and encourage The citizenry.
Aaecf annual holiday 'building fundraiser & awards' gala - 60 people - The launch of our fundraising campaign to build a Cultural center and museum to serve The community. During The event, we honored community leaders, individuals and couples, who ensure long island is a safe and vibrant place to work, live, visit and do business. The 2nd annual 'aaecf concert in The park' fundraiser to benefit our young women transitional and mentoring program - 360 people The young women's transitional services and mentoring (ywts) was developed to empower women and girls by utilizing a multifaceted, systematic approach. Ywts includes mentoring, community outreach, and leadership development.
